As we’ve shown before, we love getting together and shooting sporting clays, especially when a day of shooting can raise money for local benefits and charities. This time, we had a little different experience. Our friends over at Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch were going to host their biggest event yet, with over 750 shooters from across Texas and beyond coming out to shoot at the 2022 Texas State Sporting Clays Championship!
While none of us were competing, we still wanted to help Defender Outdoors give a warm Fort Worth welcome to all the visiting shooters. We sponsor a shooting station right behind the clubhouse out at the Ranch, so we decked it all out with some of our road signs. Then we helped keep drivers safe by marking off some obstacles in the roadway and cart paths. Plus, we set-up a message sign on the road heading into Defender Outdoors, so all the people would know they’re heading in the right direction.
All in all, Travis and the whole Defender Outdoors team put on a great event and we were happy we could be a part of it! Who knows, maybe we’ll see you out at the Clay Sports Ranch sometime soon!
